    WHO:  Ray Conniff, pop music maestro, orchestral/choral genius and

musician extraordinaire. Included in the rarefied list of the all-time Top 10 album sellers, this hip icon of the cocktail nation and personification of the golden era of music continues his 60-year music career with his 100th album, a benefit concert and a cavalcade of well-wishing celebrities led by longtime chum Larry King, who will m.c., and Broadcasting Hall of Famer, Gary Owens, who will also offer words to honor Conniff. King's new mother-in-law, Gerri Engemann, is the former Conniff Chorus lead singer, and will also appear. WHAT: ... A benefit concert for the Motion Picture & Television Fund marking the release of Conniff's milestone album 100, "I Love Movies." He and his trademark complement of eight singers (plus Engemann!), and 18 musicians will perform film themes from his PolyGram debut, including "Don't Cry For Me Argentina," "Unchained Melody," "Beauty And The Beast," and "Oh, Pretty Woman."
